The six Representatives who have blocked six million from having a say in the matter.

Speaker Naifeh has "stacked" this Subcommittee so that all pro-life legislation will be killed.

After SJR127 has passed the Senate now four times with overwhelming majorities, this Subcommittee that killed SJR 127 in the state House, once again:

SJR0127 by Black
PUBLIC HEALTH AND FAMILY ASSISTANCE OF HHR:
Recommended for passage - refer to: Health & Human Resources Committee
2/27/2008
OUTCOME OF VOTE: Failed
          Ayes................................................3
          Noes................................................6
Representatives voting aye were: Chris Crider, Tom DuBois, Debbra Maggart -- 3.
Representatives voting no were: Lois DeBerry, JoAnn Favors, Sherry Jones, Mary Pruitt, Jean Richardson, Joe Armstrong -- 6.

Because they killed the resolution in the Subcommittee, in order for the full House to vote, it is now necessary for 2/3 of the House members to vote to bring the issue to the House floor.  After it gets to the House floor, only a majority vote is needed for it to move to the next step of the amendment process.
